Hi again,
I was wondering how many people have had tooth pain with their flares? I think I am now going through a flare, I am just awaiting my results from the ANCA. When I wake up in the morning I am sooo stuffy and I have to cough and blow my nose a million times. My teeth also hurt for a few hours and then the pain diminishes. The tooth pain has only come one other time in my life and that is when I had a sinus infection. I don't remember tooth pain when I originally got sick with the disease. Can anyone give me any insight on this and anything that can relieve it?

Before I was dx'ed, I occasionally got severe pain in different teeth (one at a time). It felt like the tooth was going to explode--very odd pain. The gum was normal and no other sign of infection. It would disappear in an hour or so. I never had sinus involvement, but during that time my other Wegs symptoms were quite severe.

The only thing that relieves Wegs pain is proper Wegs treatment.

Same here. Really bad tooth pain. Actually resolved before treatment but I firmly believe it was related to WG.

Only tooth pain related to sinus issues.

I have wondered the same thing. I have ocassional tooth pain and suspected it was related to the WG, but, as Jack said, it's probably related to the sinus issue and not directly to WG.

Tooth pain can mean virus, infection or WG in your sinuses. Whenever I have tooth pain lasting for a week, I am at the docs getting antibiotic. My WG is in remission, so if the antibiotic didn't work then I would have the specialist take a closer look at me.
