Bags under my eyes

I have noticed in the last two years that I have bags (puffy) under my eyes....does anyone else have these? How do I get rid of them? I know this is vain, but my own mom and family members do not have bags under their eyes. :crying::w00t:

Since this all started I too have had crazy big bags under my eyes (they are puffy and very dark - purple/dark red/bluish,) especially the left side where things seem more active. Some days are worse than others and being a rookie I still haven't found the correllation - but give me time... :thumbsup:

If you come up with a solution I'd love to hear it, cuz mine are quite 'not pretty' - especially on the puffy days.

Sorry guys, but those bags and dark circles probably aren't going anywhere.... They indicate adrenal weakness, which is a given with pred or any chronic illness. They are actually a major indicator holistic docs use to assess "healthy" peoples' adrenal function. Kids with allergies invariably have dark circles and/or bags under their eyes, even when their allergies aren't active. That's because weak adrenals are the underlying cause of allergies.

While Weggies can't make the eye signs go away, you can do things to help your adrenals. Mostly, don't beat them up with caffeine, overexertion, stress, processed foods, staying up late, etc.... I think too many of us forget that Wegs is a serious disease that is using up tons of resources. Even when Wegs is in remission, the drugs we take use up resources and nutrients and are a source of stress to the adrenals.

i used to have a thing called Panda Love with one of my ex boyfriends. I said to him you must really love me to look at me the morning after a big night out when i've been too drunk to take off my make up and then get panda eyes in the morning. He said i love it. I said you love my panda eyes? he said yeah, panda love.

Geoff Zombies are a bit like greyhounds. They are all slow and graceful when not racing...but the moment the door opens and they see that bunnie (or out in a field and see a real bunnie) they go NUTS and chase that thing with all their might. I think this is similar in Zombies. Either that or they drink lots of redbull

Sangye, my kids think so too. The sad thing is that my left eye ( bag) is smaller than my right eye ( bag)???? Wish they were equal at least?:blink::lol:

I keep telling my three year old that 'beautiful' lives on the inside not the outside. I believe that 99.99% of the time.

My son related to me that his girlfriend was looking at a video of their first day of med school in 2006, her parents were filming, and filmed me as well. She said to him " wow i didn't know your Mom was so pretty. When she visited or I went to Poland it has been alway as I am now, 60 lb heavier. I realized that my family and even myself do not remember what I used to look like before wegs.

baggs under the eyes....dark circle and no neck.....Yes jack we are an attractive bunch......I tried cold cumcumbers slices on my eyes ...didn't work but the rest of the cumcumber made a great snack...lol......

Lisamarie, I even put a frozen grape on my bags ...man that was cold...only kept it on for 5 seconds. Better to eat that treat the bags.

I haven't noticed the dark circles as much as I have notice the bags under my eyes. This was when my Wegs seemed more active and I was coughing all night and not getting proper sleep what so ever. Now that I am sleeping better, my eyes look better in the mornings. How is everyone sleeping?

Yes the bags under the eyes are irritating to look at...every time I fly I pay an extra $25 bucks...GO FIGURE! Anyway there is always eye liposuction :thumbsup:

Too funny:flapper:.....is that $25.00 for each eye or do they give you a 2 for 1 price..lolol:biggrin1:thank God I don't fly much I would be broke........On the serious note my friend said to avoid facial heated stuff it makes the baggs worse...her eyes actually swelled shut....she does not remember the brand ...so i am just gonna deal and laugh or cry at myself.....it is what it is and could be so much worse..right?????

Brian told me today, in jest, that my face is so smooth and wrinkle free. A compliment before Wegs / prednisone, but hmmmm.... now.... well......:wink1:

I was told over and over that I looked younger when I was on prednisone....now according to my son...I have wrinkles, bags under my eye and blotchy skin. Yea, I'm one sexy Mama!!
