    Default My Ct scan results

Went to my local Rhuemy..my CT scan of the lung and thorax showed- small calcified nodule in the lower pole of the right lobe of the thyroid. Has anyone has this?
A subcentimeter low density focus in the anterior segment of the right lobe of the liver...suspect a small cyst at this location. Any thoughts?
I had thoracic surgery last year and that showed expected scarring. Any thoughts?
I will be sending this report with me next week when I see the specialist and see what she has to say. I am kinda sad.

Yes, but no recommendations. My local Rhuemy is looking into it, possible endocrinologist to see me, then she wants the WG specialist to see it, I will see the WG in about a week. I will see my primary doctor to discuss this next week. So it is probably not to big of a deal but still want to know is this normal.

Your docs are so good. I'm sure it'll be okay and they'll be able to explain the findings.

Thanks Sangye for the encouragement, I was feeling so down today and was thinking when is this all going to stop! It's always something! I just need to get back to one day at a time or one minute ...one second at a time!

Got a call from my Rhuemy and I am going in for a ultra sound of my thyroid Monday. So hopefully it won't be anything.

25 years ago my husband noticed an adam's apple like growth on my neck. I had it x-rayed and an ultra sound. It didn't look good so without having it biopsied we decided to get rid of it. I had a thyroidectomy and was put on synthroid, a synthetic thyroid hormone. Hypothyroidism is an autoimmyne disease and that was my diagnosis. If that is what they will find, do not worry, it is a simple operation and I remember that it took me no time to get better. good luck on monday.

Elephant, I'm glad they're taking a closer look. Don't worry about it and just enjoy your weekend.
