Wegener's bumps, rash, ?????

I woke up this morning with little red bumps ...one on my arm, one on my foot, two on my left leg,one on my right leg and they itch. Is this a wegeners flare or allergic reaction?

Do you typically get a skin rash with Wegs? I do and it's a good predictor of activity for me. I can tell the Wegs rash from anything else--looks completely different.

I get them with a flare, too. They usually occur where my clothing has caused pressure - a wrinkle, band, etc. They go away within 48 hours - definite flare for me!

Are the red bumps round and itch? It just one on a single forearm and one single on a foot. Do you guys have pictures of this? Where on the internet can I see pictures?

My Wegs rash is sometimes raised, but it's usually flat. If it's raised, it's only mildly so, like eczema--not like hives. The spots are dark red. If the Wegs is really active they're very itchy, like something is crawling in the skin. If I scratch them at all they bleed bright red blood.

Here are some pics of a vasculitis rash from the JHU website (scroll down past the very scary-looking fingers). Mine have never been as bad as any of the pics, but they look the most like the third pic.

Thanks Sangye, Mine are small raised ( very few of them) and a little itchy. They are not dark red, but light red. No flat rashes....what do you think? Sorry....
None of the pictures look like mine. Oh pooey!

I have no idea, Elephant. I do think a doc should take a look, though. Do you have a dermatologist?

Oh Sangye, yes I had this before over ten years ago....over 5 dermatologist saw me and did not have a clue. I just went to one last week to do a full body scan..checking for skin cancer and weird moles and of course I didn't have a raise small light red bump on me. I will let me Rheumy see it tomorrow. I had lots of skin involvement in the early days - mainly around my joints and finger tips, I had a selection of what looked like blood blisters, warts and calluses. No lumps and no rash.
