Hi everybody,

This past thursday and friday I had 3 units of blood I am still very tired
and a big bruise on my arm How long does it take to work and i won't be so tired?

To be honest, transfusions never had much effect on me either. I think they are supposed to work right away, but although my test results improved, I did not feel the benefit.
I think tiredness and Wegener's go hand in hand. I spent most of yesterday asleep, but feel better this morning!
Hope you improve soon. At least being tired is one of the less unpleasant symptoms.

I had always felt better after a pint or two, every time. When I had gotten off dialysis I still had to get epogen shots. The anemia did make me tired though. It wasn't until I started producing blood that the tiredness went away, other things started to work again as well. When the other things started working is when I knew I was making blood
