I'm just as convinced s/he is a female cat as I was that Woodie, the neutered neighbor's tomcat (neighbor's neutered tomcat! ha!) was "Miss Kitty" until someone pointed something out. This time of year, with all the extra hair around their "naughty parts", you kind of upset digging around to get your facts straight. The only thing I can be sure of is that this cat isn't an unneutered male! Lucy is a good name for an orange-haired cat! (As in "I Love Lucy" ~ Lucille Ball.) Fopr the time being s/he is "Pumpkin" because several people told me that's what the cat should be named. I think it's a bit over used, plus "Lucy" fits the cat's personality. S/he's constantly getting into more situations and hijinx. "Loocy...you got some 'splaining to do!" Her/his latest: s/he just slipped out from behind the livingroom blinds, onto my computer table, where s/he sat right under my light (incandescent) on my mouse and keyboard, making it a bit tedious to finish this posting! Loocy!+6
