Pain free maybe not...but they should certainly be able to get it under some measure of control over time. I don't know how much pain you are in, but if it's a livable amount I'd hit vdub's doctor at UofU as soon as possible for a second opinion.

I'd be very reluctant to start on Morphine...that's extremely addictive stuff. I find any opiate based to be scary to take.

When a doctor says you will alway have pain, a red flag pops up. This doctor needs to get to the bottom of your pain or possibly get you to see a pain management consultant.

Red flags waving if he says you will never be pain free. Please consult a specialist that has compassion as well as knows Wegs

Welcome! happy u found this sight, there r so many people who have been such a big help 2 me, it is just nice 2 have someone who actually knows what is going on w/ such a strange thing. They can't tell us how we get this so I do not believe they can say it will never get better, i hope u get relief for ur pain and answers 2 ur questions!

Thank you all for your support you guys have been so kind to me. I am gratefull to and for this site. Some times its hard to face the day knowing wg and pain will be there. But then I look at my daughter and remember I fight for her. And could not do it without friends like you guys thanks a bunch.

I started MTX on fri, man it makes you tired. well lets hope it works.
