i was on 175mg of azathioprine and 40 mg of pred but the flare up started to get worse and the doc changed it back to 200mg of cyclo last week and 45 mg of pred but hasnt been much change yet, still having alot of nasal and sinus pain, and still oozing blood. Were living about 20 mins out of nanaimo.

Hi Nigel, welcome to the group. Unfortunately there is no way to tell how long a flare will last. Some can be treated quickly with minimal meds and others require the stronger drugs. The best thing you can do is get a good Wegs specialist involved in your care. One of the Canadians (I think it was Marta) recently posted a list of Canadian references to find a good doc.

    Hello Nigel,

Sorry to hear about your flare-up... sounds like the WG moved with you from Alberta?

Here is the hyperlink that Marta (Jasper) posted a while back.
