I have usually had my CT scans and MRI's in a couple hours if needed. If it wasn't urgent i could schedule them some time in the next few days if that was more convenient for me. I just called to schedule a routine followup with my urologist and got an appointment in five days. If it was urgent it would have been in an hour or two. I have had a rough month and needed to see several doctors for various things, eye, ent, pulmonary etc and have always been seen within an hour or two or making my request. Routine follow up visits take longer, usually days or even weeks if you have no symptoms that require care now.
