My son, Carter,s WBC count was down to 1.2 from his ctx (IV) last month. They gave him 1g of ctx. He had another dose last week, they decided on 750mg. He takes blood tomorrow, so we will see if it drops bad again.

How many other have to stop Cytoxan due to such drops in WBC?[/QUOTE]
When my wbc went too low on cytoxan they stopped it for 1 month. They also gave me shots of procrit to boost red blood cells. I was able to go back to the cytoxan after 1 month. My white count was monitored closely, it did drop but not to the point that I needed to stop the cytoxan. I hope I never have to have cytoxan again.

I have been on oral Cytoxan since December 14, 2009 and I have had to stop twice for seven days, the second time they had me stop they lowered my dose from 250mg to 200mg. I have a cbc done once a week.
