    Docs in Los Angeles

Can anyone recommend a doctor in Los Angeles. I've been to several RH docs who don't seem to know much about WG. I've read all the previous posts, but can't find anything specific to LA.

I would contact the VF - Vasculitis Foundation. Their number is 1-800-277-9474 or the website is: www.vasculitisfoundation.org

My son is being treated at UCLA. He is however in the pediatric unit. I did meet a lady while I was there who had an adult son that is treated at UCLA for his WG and she told me that they have many WG paitents. I could get the drs. name for you if you would like.

I would love it, I am four hours away from LA by car, much easier than getting to Cleveland Clinic or John Hopkins.

Thank you for the information. I will call first thing tomorrow morning.
Unfortunately I've been to half dozen RH that claim to specialize in WG and after wasting a lot of time, I come to find that they only have a few patients and I find no benefit to be treated by them.
    Again, thank you

Nania, you're wise not to waste your time with a non-Wegs doc. The only question you need to ask a potential doc is "How many patients with Wegs have you treated?" If the answer is less than "hundreds," s/he isn't a Wegs specialist.
