Leucocytes High - is it of concern?

After having chemo I was worried about bladder cancer so Doc said test your urine occasionally at home. Well that was about 12 months ago and haven't done it so decided to do it in the morning. My leucocytes were high. I went to Doc - a young inexperienced one as couldn't get into my usual and he remeasured it and it wasn't particularly high in the afternoon. Should I be worried about it. I'll be seeing my usual Doc in 3 weeks? Carol Australia

Elevated leukocytes usually means a bacterial infection. It could also just be due to a contaminated specimen-- sounds like that was the case.
