Article on Weight Gain Due to Medical Reasons

I thought this was worth posting. The weight gain has sure made my life harder--emotionally and physically. Dr Seo said the only chance I have of losing weight is if I can get more active. Nothing left to clean up in my diet. Stupid pred!

If you remember a while back I was down to 89kg, then slowly crept up back to 96k. Well I am back in Poland and do a lot of walking and not being at home, I don't have to cook for my hubby and so I don't eat as much. In 2 weeks I lost 3kg. If all goes well I should be back to 89 before I go back home. So yes, I can safetly agree with Sangye's doc, only excercise and moderate diet will shed the pounds. That is if only we can do it.

I think I'm the only one on here suffering from weight loss.
I'm now classed as Severely Malnourished.

Jack, that's awful. We have to find a way for you to get calories and nutrients in.

Even though I'm on Prednisone 7 mg and that just got recently lowered...I have gained 4 pounds...well I have to admit I have been eating very bad and hardly exercising...that's because I am traveling from one city to another visiting family and friends in the Chicago area. All we do is go out to eat and have desert! Can't wait to get back home and eat and exercise normally!
