    Default thyroid nodule

Anyone have this? My ct scan results show a 4mm nodule on my right thyroid. I'm sure its not a big deal. But with my abnormal labs and other symptoms I'm playing hypochondriac again...especially since I got a nice little runny nose. I need to keep reminding myself they don't see wegs.

Theyre faxing results to Utah. I should stop googling.

Thanks. I did some reading and they seem fairly common and usualy harmless. It can also explain the terrible ear aches I've been having.

I too have just found some nodules on my thyroid. I've done some googling and it seems it can be part of Wegs. Any info what others have found would be great.

Most of the time nodules on the thyroid are harmless, but they should always be checked out by a doctor.

Agree with all the above.... My left thyroid is 3x normal. Been that way for at least 4 years. I get a picture of it every year and no change.

I have Hashimotos disease, and have been taking Synthroid, same dose, for over 26 years. Since I had a lump back then it was removed surgically with 1/2 of my thyroid. Lately a lump has formed once again and I will have an ultrasound next thursday.

I too take synthroid secodary to hypothyroidism. I have my thyroid ultrasounded twice in the last year. I have been growing cysts but the look benign. Jolana, let us know about your ultrasound results.
