I thought about you (and a lot of us) at the coffee shop today. There was a cartoon on display: At the bottom was a rumpled guy sitting on the edge of his bed, apparently trying to rise and, more or less, shine. At the top, God was in the clouds, holding a lightning bolt and eying a cosmic dartboard. God says, "Which part of Jerry is going to hurt today?"

Hope you hurt less real soon....

Woah! That's kinda funny. I wonder what the artist was dealing with in his personal life. I appreciate that you keep us in your thoughts. Thanks Al.

Sangye and Anne, thanks for the info. Ill go with Sudafed. I like the idea of letting a fever burn. I've never had a flu vaccine, don't know if I'll ever do it. With nothing to do but lay in bed, I have lots of thoughts like "why didn't I?". Plenty of time to get worked up over my Utah visit. Booo

Nancy, if your fever does not go down after 72 hours its time to call your doc. I went through what I thought was the flu, but it turned out to be a big weggie flare. Even in the ER, they were not sure, but after passing out and could not stand up they kept me and found a nodule in my lung. But before I scare you, I had symtoms of WG flares that I was ignoring that led to all of this. Hope you feel better soon.
