Does anyone know anything about oil pulling? Is it safe for a Weggie?

I looked it up. I didn't recognize the name of this Ayurvedic procedure. It's perfectly fine to use.

As for as i know oil pulling is put few drops of gingely oil or any edible oil in to mouth in the morning before taking food rinse it in mouth for about 10 t0 15 minitues then wash, It is said to be for removing toxicities from the body many people in India practice this

Thanks. My friend swear by this. I just don't like to try anything without making sure its safe. I guess I can run it by Dr. Langford when I see her next

I came across oil pulling on the internet when I was looking for help with my sinuses which were driving me crazy. I was being seen by an ENT but nothing was helping. I eventually went totally deaf and only then was prescribed prednisone which was to me a miracle drug as my hearing returned and I felt so much bettter overall when on the drug. I continued with the oil pulling and I do think it helped with nasal crusting.. other than that it did not improve the underlying conditon. There were a few positive side effects in that my teeth were much cleaner and my hair looked very shiny and healthy.This was before diagnosis and treatment. My sinuses are fine at the moment but I still do oil pulling now and then but only to whiten my teeth.

Thanks Rose. Prednisone is such a miracle drug/and the devil all wrapped in one LOL! I felt so good on Pred. but glad I was able to get off of it. Well I guess I'll give it a shot, even if I only get whiter teeth
