I think most cases of Wegs test positive for C-ANCA but in most cases down the road it is not a good or reliable marker for disease activity.

I'm (+) C-ANCA. Not everyone with Wegs has a (+) ANCA. Some people have (-) biopsies and (-) ANCA but are diagnosed with Wegs based on signs/symptoms and other diagnostic tests.
