granuloms in the uterus

I went to the doc today and they did a ultra sound and found a mass the doc said it may be a granuloma. Has anyone else heard of the uterus being affected?

No, I haven't heard of that, but I'm still new to this whole Wegs game. Are they running any other tests to figure out what it is, if you don't mind me asking?

This appointment was just with family doc and he is waiting on the radiologist to say what he thinks it may be. I go to cc on Monday and I am sure he will run a bunch more tests and get this taken care of. I have granulomas in my lungs and was diagnosed with WG in January. The pains just started a few days ago and progressed quickly I had originally planned on waiting to see my doc at cc on Monday and talk to him but the pain got pretty bad so I went to my family doc.

Wegs can affect any part of the body. I haven't heard of anyone with uterus involvement but it can still happen. They will likely have to do a biopsy to prove that it's Wegs.

I read of a case where the WG presented in a mans prostate - crazy. Good luck to the doc who had to figure THAT out.
Anything is possible. It took months to diagnose my case in my sinus so I don't believe there is a best or worst place in that regard. Wish you well.

Friday had the biopsy done and I go to CC on monday. I am hoping that he has the results. blood work showed that my B cells are high and I had rtx in January.
